IBank Board to Consider $7 Million of Infrastructure Financing of County of Santa Cruz Sanitization District

SACRAMENTO – The California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank (IBank) Board will decide whether to lend up to $7 million through its Infrastructure State Revolving Fund program to the County of Santa Cruz Sanitation District. If the loan is approved, the district will fund their Capitola/Jewel Box Sewer Replacement Project. Financing will go towards equipment, installation and construction activities needed to upgrade and replace sewer line located within the City of Capitola. Project benefits include reducing repair and maintenance costs of the sanitary sewer system while extending the life
of the system.
